Tom’s History – Since 1952

Opened in 1952, Tom unveiled the doors to his legendary steak house, captivating the hearts and palates of Chicagoans. A tradition born then and cherished now. At Tom’s, we meticulously hand-cut each steak in-house, sourced only from USDA Black Angus and wet aged for 28 days. Our commitment to authenticity is evident in every bite, as our steaks are grilled over a charcoal broiler, infusing them with unparalleled taste and flavor.

Experience the flavor and served in our “Brazier”, right before your eyes. Our table-side service adds a touch of theater to your dining experience, as each steak is expertly plated before you, bathed in our signature Au Jus.
